Toronto is an epicenter of canadian capitalism. Any other canadian city is better for families, Vancouver is the second worst place. Overpriced housing, pollution, crime, traffic jams, wild immigrants, tribal connections, competitions...probably the worst city in North America.

burlington sucks for every one because they didn't invest in public transport and make it safe for bike commute, so every one have to drive even for small distances, and that make congestion when every one drives a car. they keep ignoring public transport or bike commute just to let the NIMYBs get what they want, and not even highways are congested in almost all hours

The amalgamation of the burbs is the worst for (proper) Toronto. Scarborough, North York, and Etobicoke aren't Toronto.

For those comparing Toronto to NYC... this is so wrong... in term of vibe and energy, Toronto reminds me more of Minneapolis than NYC. Toronto has a boring vibe... the urbanism is so bad; you have to plan everything if you want to have fun; so you end up doing nothing and stay home (like most Torontonians :) ). So, if you like working and make money then stay home; and spend everything you've earned because of insane cost of living; Toronto is for you ;) ...

I was born and raised in the gta. I really have never liked Toronto very much, though the only alternative in Canada would be Montreal. I wish I was American so I'd have the option of moving to one of their many states. Preferably Florida. Toronto is a bit grimy and dirty and just not that nice unless you're in Yorkville or something. I don't like the architecture much here

I think an update on this video would be a good idea. I live near Burloak and it takes me 20 mins to get to the RBG… and that is going along Lakeshore. There are loads of transit buses that run often and the go train is never busy… I’ve never had to stand going in or out of Burlington to Toronto… even during rush hour. Our 4 bed house cost half of what was stated in the video.

I lived in Mississauga all my life.. it was great during the 90s and early 2000s.. well balance of different cultures. However lots of Musl__ms and Indians moved here and now some particular areas are stinky.

Like most towns around Toronto … a nice but tiny downtown where most of the small local shops have been replaced by chains like Timmies etc, no bike lane infrastructure at all. Exclusive but small and limited old neighborhoods with nice homes that most ppl will never be able to afford. Malls, highways, condos ….
